Boxing Day Charity Match Results
We raised just under £500 to go to meningitis and mums with cancer. We had a good crowd watching and 5 sets of dads and sons. Leigh and Tom clark, the Shelley’s, Wilkinson’s, Roby’s and finally Mr Cresswell who was on referee duties came on in the last 10mins to play with his son Oli. We even had a try by 52 year old Leigh Clark.
As Liam Duffin said it was great to see so many Dads play the game with their sons as he remembers when he was a nipper the Boxing Day match starting out as a Dads and Sons match. Long may it continue.
