Dear All Members & Visitors
As we achieve more success on the pitch with our 1st XV, we as a club are looking to enhance the match day experience for everybody visiting Dillingham Park.
From this Saturday, 30th March fixture against Rosslyn Park FC we will be making the following changes:
- Match stewards will be visible around the pitch area wearing high-vis jackets. We kindly request that you listen to their instructions in the event of any emergency.
- There will be two bars on the first team pitch serving draft bitter (Marstons Eagle) plus cans of premium lager and Guinness. We will also be catering for the non-beer drinkers with canned spirits and miniature bottles of prosecco.
- There will continue to be a £1 deposit for a disposable cup. Any visitor may return a maximum number of two (2) disposable cups at any one time. At the last home game of the season (Sale FC on 13th April) we will have an amnesty when you might return any other Ampthill RUFC branded cups that you may have taken home. Or you may of course choose to keep them!
- In a bid to reduce congestion and speed up service in the clubhouse bar, only CASH or pre-paid membership cards will be accepted between 2pm and 6pm on Match Days. No credit card payments will be accepted during this time.
Finally, may we please remind you that our club is almost entirely staffed by volunteers who give up their time for the love of Ampthill Rugby Club and try their best to provide an enjoyable experience for all visitors. We expect that all club employees and volunteers are treated with respect at all times. Anybody who is verbally abusive towards any club representative, employee, volunteer, or opposition supporter may be banned from the club!
