This Saturday we welcome Bedford Blues to Dillingham Park in the Championship Cup. This is the first competitive fixture between the clubs at our ground and it promises to be both a great game of rugby and day for our members and supporters.
Visitors to Dillingham Park will have seen the huge marquee on pitch 1 where we will be hosting 200 people for lunch before the game. We still have a few places available so if you’d like to book a seat please go to https://www.ampthillrufc.com/hospitality/club-lunches/ or call Kevin Miller on 07870 160494
We are expecting a very big crowd on Saturday and urge all members and supporters to book tickets for all attendees, including any free children tickets online. It is possible that we will sell out online and not have any tickets available on the day.
Gold members do not need to book online. Please bring your Gold Card to the Ticket office, in the Hague Bar, and you will be issued with a ticket. Please do not go directly to the gate.
Tickets are available at https://www.ampthillrufc.com/match-tickets/.
Saturday’s game will kick off at 1.45pm. The Clubhouse, Hague Bar and Christmas Marquee bars will open at 11.00am. For those attending lunch in the Christmas Marquee, we will sit down to eat at 11.45. We have a band playing during lunch and our compere will be hosting a few fun games so remember to bring some cash!
Gates to the Grange Jaguar-Land Rover bowl will open at 12.00 where our food concessions selling ARUFC pies, pulled pork rolls, cold filled rolls plus barbeque food will be open. The pitchside bars and PURE Triumph hospitality bar will open at 1.00pm.
All pitchside bars and food concessions are cash only! However, if you wish to pay by card then drink tokens are available from the Clubhouse and Hague bars which may be redeemed on pitchside!
After the game, the clubhouse will be open for members – please show your membership cards to the security team and the Hague Bar will be open for all visitors. The Christmas marquee will be reserved for lunch attendees, players, officials and players guests until 5.30pm.
Finally parking! Please support the club by not parking on the grass verges along Woburn Street. Car parking is available at Alameda Sports Hall and Queensman FC which are both signposted on Woburn Street and and our volunteers will be happy to help you.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate in contacting us. We hope you will all join us to watch the game and have a fantastic day on Saturday.
