5th Official – First XV Home match day
The club is looking for volunteers to be 5th officials on First XV Championship league and cup match days for the upcoming season
The RFU provide a team of 4 matchday officials. In addition, the club are required to provide a nominated 5th official.
The role includes:
• Arrival on Matchday well in advance of kick off
• During the match you will be located on the dugout side of the pitch
• The recording of match events including scoring, discipline, substitutions
• Support 4th official as required
• Submit Match card via GMS within 1 hour of the game completion
• Provide required statistical game information to Press Teams after the game for use in reports for The Rugby Paper within 1 hour of game completion
• Free entry and volunteer food provided
The role can be covered by one person or shared on a rota basis.
