We are now looking for a Sports Physiotherapist for 1st XV Championship game day cover. This would require an individual who:
- Is HCPC registered (essential)
- Has the necessary indemnity cover (essential)
- Has experience working within a team sport (essential)
- Holds a Level 3 PHICIS (Pre-hospital Immediate Care in Sport) course, or equivalent, or be willing to commit to the course before the season starts (essential) – part funding may be available for the right candidate
- Can evidence Hepatitis B Immunity (or non-responder status) (essential)
- Can evidence strapping skills (essential)
- Can evidence additional specialist skills such as electrotherapy, ultrasound, suturing, prescribing (desirable)
There will be around 28 games across the season, mostly Saturdays with the occasional Friday evening or Sunday afternoon. Match Fee negotiable depending on skill set and experience. Transport will be provided, or travel expenses paid (dependant on location).
