The club is excited to announce the appointment of Dan Phillips as the new Community Director of Rugby.
For those who don’t know Dan, he played for Saracens and was club captain at both Harpenden and Ampthill in 2006-07. Since retiring from playing, he has been coaching his son’s age group at Ampthill.
On his appointment, Dan comments “This is a great opportunity, and I am looking forward to working with our youth age groups and academy team in developing the transition to senior rugby at Ampthill. Our aim is to provide high quality development of performance, and support all of our players, coaches and volunteers”
Dan will be addressing all of the coaches, players and parents at the Academy Launch event on Monday evening and is available to speak with all other age group coaches and parents – please message for contact details.
