We are excited to announce that the Ampthill “ROAR” Rugby Camps for Girls will return in the summer of 2023!
“ROAR” was a phenomenal success last year with over 100 girls in school years 6 – 12 attending across 4 sessions at Ampthill Rugby Club run by the Ladies and Girls age group coaches!
Such was the popularity of the camps that we’ve extended ROAR this year to girls in school years 3 – 13 and we’re confident that this will be biggest rugby camp exclusively for girls in the East of England this Summer!
Last year we were grateful to have Saracens and USA Rugby Co-Captain Lotte Clapp and Club Captain Charlie Beckett come to assist us with coaching, and award-winning rugby photographer Dante Kim capturing the action. We’ve already got some amazing guest coaches lined up for the girls this year so parents, please bring your cameras!
Thanks to the continued support of GRANGE Jaguar-Land Rover, SOGO Mobility, Comfort Homecare and O’Neills Sportswear we are again able to offer FREE rugby t-shirts for the first 50 girls to register!
We will also provide a BBQ after every session.
Dates this year are Sat 10th June, Sat 15th July and Sat 12th Aug! Each session will run from 1000-1230 and is FREE for all attendees!
