Ampthill welcome London Scottish to The Olney Field on “Ladies Day” looking to build momentum after last weeks last minute win against Coventry whilst ‘the Exiles’ will be looking to bounce back from a defeat at home to Ealing Trailfinders.
Head Coach Paul Turner returns to the fold after sickness last week and makes five changes to the starting fifteen that recorded its first Championship win at The Butts Park Arena.
Harrison Courtney (pictured) has made their loosehead shirt his own of late and makes his fifth consecutive start since the resumption of the Championship. He packs down alongside hooker Rhys Marshall and Samoan international James Johnston who returns at tighthead as the only change to the pack. Aussie Aidan King again partners Kaden Pearce-Paul in the engine room whilst the back row is unchanged with Tino Mapapalangi on the blindside, Charles Rylands on the openside and Nathan Michelow again at eight.
Turner again rotates his half-backs with Rory Morgan and Josh Barton starting this week at nine and ten respectively. Captain Fraser Strachan continues his partnership with Sione Va’enuku in midfield whilst in the back three, winning try-scorer Brandon Jackson switches to the left wing this week with Jack Bracken coming in on the right and Evan Mitchell at full back.
Roan Frostwick returns to the match day twenty-three on a six:two bench that includes forwards coach Richard Barrington and exciting prospect Reggie Hammick.
