The 1881’s were on the road again, this time to Bishop Stortford Blues for a double header. The now usual early phases of the game saw the opposition dominating the possession but A’s defending well. A scrum just inside the opposition half led to a great line run through a fractured defence by right wing Josh Skelcey and 0 – 5 lead after 15 mins on A’s first visit to the hosts 22. The A’s pack now dominant in the scrum and winning good ball. A poor Stortford clearance kick to half way and a quickly taken lineout throw off
