Ahead of our first home game of the 2024-25 Championship season we’re excited to announce our new partnership with Brewpoint Brewery!
Brewpoint is a new, state of the art brewery but the legacy of brewing in Bedford started in 1876 as Charles Wells – five years before the formation of Ampthill & District Community Rugby Club and it is fitting that Bedfordshire’s oldest brewery is now partnering with Bedfordshire’s oldest community rugby club!
In a deal to run for the next four seasons, Ampthill will be serving Brewpoint Genesis, “Bedford Stout” alongside a range of India Pale Ale, Real Ales plus our own dry-hopped “Brewpoint Mob Lager” in the clubhouse, marquee and from our pitch side bars starting this Saturday!
Look out for details of future Brewpoint events and promotions at the club plus a tour to the Brewery for our Gold Members!
Speaking about the new partnership, Club Chairman Alex Radley said “As a Community Club we encourage our members and supporters to trade locally and it’s important that we continue to do that as a club – we’re lucky to have the Brewpoint Brewery on our doorstep. We hope that the addition of Brewpoint products to our bars will add more variety and value for money for our members and supporters whilst we’re reducing our carbon footprint by offering local products.”
