Ampthill Head Coach Paul Turner has confirmed the signing of Iwan Shenton on loan from Scarlets in a deal that could last for the rest of the season.
Back row Iwan (193cm, 106kg) came through the ranks at Tonna RFC and then the Ospreys Academy. He was standout player for Cardiff Met in BUCS Super Rugby before joining Scarlets in the summer of 2022.
Iwan has 12 appearances for Scarlets scoring one try against club partners Saracens in a friendly. He also featured for Aberavon in the Indigo Premiership.
