Ampthill RUFC aspires to be the most professional community rugby club in the country, setting the standard for player development and club culture.
We are committed to providing an exceptional environment where players of all abilities can thrive, supported by a team of highly qualified coaches, dedicated support staff, and passionate volunteers. This comprehensive support system ensures that every player has the opportunity to reach their full potential, whether they are just starting out or pushing towards the highest levels of the game.
Our Academy
With over 200 adult players and more than 400 registered minis and youth players, the club runs an impressive programme that includes six adult teams, six youth sides, and seven mini teams—many of which field multiple squads each weekend. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in the success of nearly every age group, many of whom have achieved regional or national recognition. Over the years, Ampthill RUFC has been proud to nurture talent that has gone on to compete in the Championship, Premiership, and represent at higher levels of the sport, underscoring our role as a vital stepping stone in the rugby community.
