The 2026-27 Elior Champ Rugby season kicks off on Saturday 19th September with the Mob travelling to West London to face old rivals Richmond at The Athletic Ground.
The Mob completed a double over ‘the Mond’ last season – a last play try secured the win away whilst Ampthill crossed the whitewash ten times at home in a 62-14.
A week later The Mob welcome Nottingham to Dillingham Park in our first home game of the season. “The Archers” had a strong finish to the 2025/26 season and will be an early test for the men in maroon and gold.
The games that all Bedfordshire rugby fans will be looking out for take place on 21st November and 20th March when we renew rivalries with Bedford Blues.
Standout games include a pre-Christmas home fixture against newly promoted Rotherham Titans on Sat 12th Dec followed by Blackheath at home on Boxing Day!
Head Coach Dave Ward thoughts on the opening block of fixtures “The release of the fixtures is a really exciting time for everyone at the club, no doubt the first fixtures we look for are the games vs Bedford but we won’t underestimate the challenge away at Richmond first game of the season. It promises to be the most competitive league in the country and we can’t wait to be part of it. Our home support in the run in last season was exceptional and we will be looking to give them plenty to cheer about as we re-enter the proving ground”
