Ampthill Jets have their one and only pre-season match tomorrow, Saturday 31st August, kick off 2.15 at Dillingham Park. Ex 1881 coach Paul Allen brings a mixed squad from London North 1 club Shelford .
With no First XV or 1881 action this weekend why not come and support the club’s senior amateur side featuring ex First XV players (from previous decades) and new to senior rugby players together with the core of the social players the Jets are renowned for!
The match is aimed at giving the Jets squad an opportunity for a run out before the serious stuff starts on 7th September when London Irish amateurs visit Dillingham Park for the Jets first-ever Zoo League 2 match.
Many local businesses have stepped forward to support the Jets for the coming season with each shirt number 1-15 having an individual sponsor. We really value this support and hope we can make the town proud.
