Shay Howes, Charlie Fleckney & Sol Tovey Make 1881s League Debut Against Jersey Athletic
At Dillingham Park this Saturday, Sep 02, kick off at 12:00, three mini & youth graduates make their competitive debuts for the 1881s against Jersey in the Zoo Sports Division 1 league fixture.
Shay, son of ADRUFC steward Louise Howes, will start on the wing, while Charlie who cannot play in his normal front row position as he is not 18 until next week, will cover the back row and Sol, a fast and elusive outside back will come off the bench.
The challenge that these academy members face shouldn’t be underestimated, this is a massive step up for all three given the physicality and skill level that all teams that play in this league exhibit.
