Following the Government’s COBRA meeting today (12/03/2020) we can confirm that all matches at Dillingham Park will go ahead as planned this weekend.
Nevertheless, Ampthill Rugby Club is committed to reducing the risk of further spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We will be carrying out extra cleaning and disinfecting to ensure the health and safety of all staff, members and guests. Public health notices will be displayed around the grounds.
We kindly ask for YOUR cooperation in reducing the risk of spread by asking you NOT TO ATTEND Ampthill Rugby Club if you have a new, continuous cough and/or a fever (temperature above 37.80C). Travel history is no longer considered relevant.
We ask that all staff, members and guests engage in following the advice of the Chief Medical Officer and wash their hands frequently with soap and hot water, or use hand sanitiser if soap and water are not available.
Always carry tissues with you. Please cover your nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing.
Dispose of tissues in the nearest bin and wash your hands with soap and water, or use hand sanitiser.
We will be placing hand sanitisers at food and bar outlets and in the portable pitchside toilet facilities which do not have soap and water.
We are continually monitoring the advice of the Chief Medical Officer, Public Health England plus the RFU and will update the website and all social media with any changes.
